Variety Liberty Swings Program 

Visits to the local playground as a child are cherished memories for most of us; however, the simple pleasure of swinging through the air was never an option for children in wheelchairs until the Australian invention of the Liberty Swing. The Liberty Swing allows children in wheelchairs the opportunity to enjoy the pure fun and exhilaration of a swing. 

Until you actually witness the sheer delight in these children’s faces, you cannot believe what a difference these swings make. Variety champions this wonderful invention, liaising with special needs schools and local councils and organisations to ensure as many Liberty Swings are installed into as many communities and special schools as possible.
