Variety helps kids in need by providing them with the equipment and support that is either too costly or too difficult for them to obtain by normal means. Variety is Australia's largest children’s charity, both in money received and funds distributed, and last year it raised $14 million in Australia alone.

The money raised by Variety is managed by an appeals committee who asses the requests that come in from the public. The committee then sources the items requested and distributes them to the children as quickly as possible.

Young Variety is the arm of Variety that seeks to raise the charity's profile amongst those who are under 40. Each year Young Variety puts on many events that are original, exciting and sought after, as we aim to entertain as well as raise money.
