National Lamington Day

National Lamington Day is back for a third year!

Variety and Top Taste™ are calling on lamington lovers around the country to celebrate the third consecutive National Lamington Day on Friday 25th July 2008 – whereby Aussie’s can enjoy the iconic treat and support kids in need. 

The third celebration comes on the back of two years of fundraising fury which has seen National Lamington Day raise nearly $80,000 for Variety – funding manual wheelchairs and key mobility projects for children across the country.

Between 11th July and 25th July 2008, twenty cents from every pack of Top Taste™ Lamingtons sold-including Top Taste Lamington Fingers and Top Taste Little Bites™ Choc-Dipped Lamingtons, will be donated to Variety, the Children's Charity.

Top Taste™ and Variety are also encouraging Corporate Australia to heed the call and participate in the celebrations by hosting their very own National Lamington Day event in the office.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED!

To join in the fun of Top Taste™ National Lamington Day and support Variety simply purchase Top Taste™ Lamington Fingers (RRP $4.48) and Top Taste Little Bites™ Choc-Dipped Lamingtons (RRP $4.49) from supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide. Top Taste™ will donate 20 cents from every pack sold between 11th July and 25th July 2008 to Variety.
