Here at Variety, we are unwavering in our commitment to improving the quality of life for children with special needs. Variety is a not-for-profit organisation that provides grants to individuals and organisations for a great number of items such as special wheelchairs, vocal output speech devices, prosthetic limbs, special play equipment and Liberty Swings.
Volunteers play a pivotal role in our mission to improve the health and wellbeing of disadvantaged and special needs children. It is through the hard work and dedication of our volunteers that we are able to celebrate our many achievements.
We are fortunate to have the support of a variety of corporates every year. We welcome and encourage support at all levels - from small businesses to large multi-national companies.
Employee volunteering builds morale, promotes teamwork, and develops a relationship with local communities across Australia. Employees can become involved via helping us out on children’s outings, Variety’s annual Kids Christmas party, (which sees over 5,000 attend at the Sydney Convention Centre) team fundraising initiatives or payroll deductions. Companies can help facilitate employee involvement by dollar matching gifts made to Variety or give employees time to volunteer their services.
Joining Variety not only gives the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills and share experiences, but also attaches you to an organisation that works collectively to achieve so much for Australian children and their families..
